We are looking for 3 drivers who will manage deliveries and collections across South Africa.

Key Accountabilities

• Day-to-day management of the transportation equipment and vehicles at the relevant sites to ensure all service and quality standards are met. Total compliance with all Iron Mountain standards and all legal requirements.

• Ensure that all records and forms with regard to transport legislation/quality are used/updated and kept current to ensure full compliance.

• Ensure all KPI reporting is maintained correctly.

• Adhere to daily schedules and making sure that all customer media is safely collected, delivered and shredded on time

• Crew management

• To ensure that all vehicles are service at regular intervals

• Interface with customers in terms of day-to-day requirements and provide solutions to any problems when required.

• Conduct pre-checks and post checks on all vehicles.

• Understand the relevance of all KPI’s and utilise them to manage the operation effectively

• Responsible for understanding and implementing the company safety and security policies, processes and procedures.

• Application and understand of SOP 27

• Comply with the required statutory reporting for occupational health and safety.

• Scheduled route/s to deliver and collect data adhering to service delivery times

• Manual lifting of large amounts of data (boxed / packaged / bagged) in a safe and secure manner

• Driver responsibilities with vehicle presentation and maintenance; including refuelling, vehicle cleanliness (inside and out), vehicle checks and defect procedures, safe and fuel efficient driving whilst fully complying with traffic legislation

• Ensure data is not compromised at any time and security is a priority. Maintaining the chain of custody
• Ensure that all Iron Mountain processes are completed concisely and in full, including obtaining appropriate customer signatures, completing and signing daily logs, completing vehicle inspection checklists

• Full adherence to Iron Mountain “Drivers Code Of conduct.” Knowledge/Skills/Experience: Experience in a customer facing environment would be an advantage as well as a good knowledge of national transport networks.

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent driving record and hold a current, clean driving licence for at least 2 years

• Have a full understanding of driving regulations
