Purpose of the Position
- To Schedule and book operators according to a design Matrix and skills requirement for events in Studios and Outside Broadcasts.
Key Performance Objectives
Tasks
Resources Management
- To Book personnel with identified skills according to technical requirements.
- To ensure fairness and transparency when booking people, considering agreed off times and work-life balance.
- To ensure planning and bookings are done in advance and in line with the operational requirement and agreed processes.
- Manage cancellations and changes to personnel and bookings considering efficiencies and travel implications.
- Ensure that all new employees, Freelancers and ISPs information is shared and captured with relevant stakeholders and on the SOBER SYSTEM.
- To be responsible to find alternate operators over the weekend due to any circumstances that may arise.
- General support to division in the event of other coordinators not being present at work
Compliance
- Performs in accordance with the business processes and policies
- Participate in learning and development activities to ensure adherence to the requirements of the company.
Communication
- To make sure that there is effective communication to and from the booking’s office with relevant to changes and booking details
- To inform all stakeholders in advance of potential crew /personnel difficulties.
- To inform crew/personnel timeously of any changes or deviations to their agreed bookings
- To make sure schedules and call times are communicated accurately and on time to crew/personnel

Qualifications
- A matric certificate or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
- A tertiary qualification is relevant to television or broadcasting an advantage.
Experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a project or production coordination role
