Job Advert Summary
To help drive trade in Pick n Pay Franchise by working cross-functionally within the Franchise team assisting in the analysis of the Franchise Operations and solutions to achieve the division's targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of tools to enable optimisations of Franchise Trade.
- Assist in the completion of day-to-day processes as required within the Operational Regions.
- Assist in the development of Forecasting, Targeting and Budgeting franchisee purchases & Sales.
- Build performance-enhancing insights based on the data.
- Manage the trade data ensuring the integrity and robustness of analysis.
- Develop system enhancements to improve data processing efficiencies.
- Contribute to the development and incremental improvement of the trade analytics and insights engine
- Pull required information off provided systems to update current reports

- Update presentations with analytics-based solutions
- Maintain documentation that can be communicated to business stakeholders
- Coordinate weekly communications from regional meetings
Minimum Requirements
- 3-year undergraduate degree in (Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or similar)
- 0-2 years experience working with high degree of data
- Advanced Excel (With Pivot Tables & Formulas) & Powerpoint absolutely essential
- Working knowledge of SAP & BI Proficient is advantageous
- Understanding of the retail industry is advantageous
