Security Officer, Grade B1 - Servest Careers

Servest Security a division of Servest urgently requires a one Grade B Security Officer willing to work shifts long hours.Ability to communicate with the public / Elderly. Be able to think on your feet and handle any situation calmly.

Duties & Responsibilities

You would be required to work shifts long hours, commencing shifts at 17h45 and 05H45 – reporting 15 mins before shift commences for shift parades

Your duties & responsibilities will be depended on the Clients requirements. This will be explained to you.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a smart phone
• Must have a mask
• We are a self-posting company – company transport will not be provided residing in Cape Town CBD or surrounding areas
• Previous hospital security and life safety-related work experience preferred Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Be well groomed
• Ability to stay level headed and respond quickly in stressful situations
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed
• Working knowledge of basic security techniques, emergency evacuation procedures and use of mobile workforce technology solutions (Instacom / iTalk)
• No criminal record

• Valid Certified Grade B PSIRA Certificate
• 2 x Certified Copies of ID

• Certified copy of school report / matric certificate
