Purpose of the Job

To provide an efficient and stable telephone network environment for the stores to be able to trade by managing the capacity, performance, and availability of the telephony network environment.

Job Objectives

• Supporting IP Telephony environments
• Configuring new IP telephones
• Network capacity and performance management
• Network incident management

• Vendor management
• Planning and management of network changes
• Monitoring of Network equipment

Qualifications

Essential

• Asterisk DCCA
• CCNA
• Code 8 drivers license

Desirable

• The minimum level of 3 years Degree / Diploma in computer or electronics or equivalent 
• CCNP
• CCNP Voice/Collaboration

Essential

• Cisco IPT support and setup (3-4 years)
• Cisco Call Manager support and setup (2-3 years)
• Yealink Wireless Telephone configurational support and setup (1-2 years)
• SIP knowledge (1-2 years)
• Networks topologies, support, and setup thereof (3-4 years)
• TCP/IP, Routing protocols, Cisco router, and switches. (2-3 years)
• Network Ethernet CAT5 cabling (2-3 years)
• Vendor management (3-4 years)
• Microsoft Products, eg Windows, Office suite (2-3 years)
