Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. CCBA is a market leader in the NARTD (non-alcoholic ready to drink market) in Africa. CCBA has an extensive footprint in Africa, employing over 13 000 employees.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply of products within model stock through completing the production planning process as well as coordinating the supply of products from other plants & external suppliers to ensure customer demand is satisfied on time & in full.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to accomplish company goals and objectives.
- Develop effective logistics strategies to reduce waste and achieve world-class operations in terms of technology, process, people, reward, costs and logistics operation.
- Direct and oversee the execution of warehouse, secondary distribution, fleet, customer collaboration and logistics transformational projects to capture value.

- Provide direction, leadership and development to ensure the execution of plans to optimise the operation and provide required customer service levels.
- Accountability for the logistics centre of excellence incorporating best practice and capability development on behalf of CCBA
- Ownership of the Logistics Service Offering and ensuring continual alignment between LSO and internal / external customer requirements
- Improve the overall performance of the Logistics function and the Company.
- Ensure the alignment of activities within logistics and with the rest of the business.
- Develop standard operating practices and drive process compliance
- Ensure standardisation and tracking of productivity measurements across all operations.
- Sharing of operational best practices across the business units.
- Align and engage with stakeholders internally and externally through collaboration.
- Provide direction and leadership to teams through driving empowerment, accountability, a culture of forward thinking, innovation and continuous improvement.

- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
- 3 years relevant working experience
