Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has exciting opportunities in our Sales department. We are looking for talented individuals with relevant skills and experience for Coffee Sales Team Leader roles, which are based in KZN and Gauteng. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager.
The Sales Team Leader will implement and execute L&T strategies in the trade through effective management and coaching of team members (Merchandiser Order Takers) in order to achieve KPI’s.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Use business process knowledge to manage a team
- Apply data management principles to continuously improve practice
- Plan and resource to achieve operational excellence

- Carry out master data handling responsibilities
- Manage team performance and adherence to SLA requirements
- Manage relationships within the business and with customers
- Handle queries and complaints
- Determine capability needs for the team
- Coaching for performance
Knowledge:
- Business/product knowledge
- Understand different classes of trade within a Sales environment
- Supervisory skills and people management
- Coaching principles
- Negotiating principles and techniques
- Merchandising principles and standards, including TPM principles
- Model Stocking principles
- Trade replacement principles
- Basic Finance and Commercial knowledge

Skills, Experience & Education
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Relevant degree or equivalent would be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years relevant FMCG experience in a sales/marketing environment
- Proven track record in an Account Manager role would be an advantage.
- Valid code 08 drivers license
