Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform professional clinical duties at the Primary Health Clinic at Bloemfontein and South Campus.
- Triage emergencies at clinic and refer to professional nurses.
- Assist with awareness campaigns regarding health and wellness on campus.
- Assist with first aid services at sport events on campus.
- Liaise with internal and external role-players.
- Assist with the Peer Education Program.
- Assist with Mentoring the Peer Educators.
- Assist with HIV activities on campus.
- Assist with the training of Peer Educators.
- Provide HIV testing, counselling and support to students infected and affected by HIV.
- Liaise with the HIV Coordinator of the UFS.
- Capture patient data and clinical notes on computer.
- Capture data on DHIS system.
- Capture data for Higher Health according to requirements Assist with clinical statics and activities on campus.

Inherent requirements:
- A relevant two-year diploma in Nursing (Enrolled Nurse).
- Proof of registration at the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- A minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in a clinic environment.
- A valid driver’s license (must travel between Bloemfontein and South Campus)
- Proof of COVID Vaccination.

- Language proficiency in Sotho
- Own transport.
- Knowledge in DHIS system.
- Knowledge of PrEP counselling
- Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT)

Salary:
The annual remuneration package, including benefits is: R361 876.25 – R455 186.80 per annum depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications.
