Job Description
- Transport Store Room and Yard Housekeeping
- Daily recording Opening/Closing Dip reading
- Daily Vehicle refuelling and accurate recording of information
- Control Securing equipment and distribute accordingly to the Outbound Team for loading.
- Assist and direct Shunter drivers whilst docking vehicles for loading
- Coupling and Uncoupling trailers from the truck tractors when required
- Plug Refrigerated trucks on electricity standby points at night
- Assist transport office team with any general task to be done
- Ensure correct use of the equipment and to timeously report any defects
- To report and record any non-conformity with regards to customer merchandise
- Maintain high levels of hygiene of the vehicle
- To work within operating areas as determined by management and the needs of the business
- When carrying out duties - follow operating procedures and safe working practices
