Novus Print: Montague Gardens is currently looking to appoint an energetic and motivated person to accept responsibility as a Driver in the Despatch Department. The successful incumbent will report to the Despatch Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily deliveries to and from clients and suppliers (includes loading and offloading of goods).
- Accurate record-keeping of all deliveries
- Keeping the company vehicle clean and tidy
- Perform daily maintenance checks

- Plan routes in a cost and time-effective manner
- Knowledge and adherence of all legal requirements and regulations stated in the National Road Traffic Act
- Notify the Manager of any major repairs or maintenance
Educational Requirements
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Valid unendorsed Code 14 with PDP driver’s license
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Code 14 driver
- Basic administrative functions
- Valid Forklift license
- Experience in delivering goods to and from clients and suppliers
Skills and Competencies
- To communicate with clients in an appropriate manner
- Excellent driving skills
