As a Junior Lab Technician, you will conduct wet chemistry analyses on a variety of samples, ensuring accuracy in measuring key nutritional factors like protein, fat, fibre, starch, moisture, and minerals. This role offers hands-on experience with lab equipment and a chance to be actively involved in maintaining our ISO 17025 and OHSE quality systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform wet chemistry analyses and calculate results following standard methods.
- Assist with quality control, statistical analysis, and data validation.
- Maintain lab equipment, ensuring optimal function for accurate results.
- Participate in safety protocols, including compliance with OHS guidelines.
- Support the lab team with stock control, data management, and ad-hoc tasks as required.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of chemistry
- Numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel.

Minimum requirements:
- BSc or NDip in Chemistry
- 6 months of experiential learning in a laboratory environment will be an advantage
