Job purpose
- To co-ordinate and execute all mechanical engineering activities in the area of responsibility at the Brits Manufacturing Plant.
Main responsibilities
- Reduce Machine Downtime
- Repair breakdowns and do faultfinding
- Daily walkthrough inspections
- Make running adjustments
- Note items for repair
- Container Installations and Press setup
- Bladder Changes
- Mould/Container/Bladder Ring Maintenance
- Mould Cleanings
- Admin: Bladder counts and record keeping daily
Continuous Improvement Initiatives
- Attend CFT activities / scrap meetings
Safety
- Execute work according to SOP’s
Housekeeping
- Apply 3S principles

Education:
- Grade 12 AND Trade test certificate
- Computer literate
Experience:
