Hello Future Personal Assistant,

We see institutions as but not limited to, pension funds, long and short-term insurers, re-insurers, as well as medical aid schemes.
We are looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to provide a comprehensive and effective secretarial support role to the relevant managers and teams. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires a candidate who is a positive thinker, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to exercise good judgment and initiative.
Are you someone who can:
- Maintain calendars for 4 busy executives including booking and confirming meetings and calls, internally and externally.
- Maintain internal systems to track projects and their statuses and execute any related reporting requirements.
- Take notes in certain meetings and circulate pertinent information to the applicable team members.
- Create agendas, presentations and documents using Microsoft Office.
- Assist with team projects and events as needed.
- Act as the point of contact for all external and internal duties related to the portfolios both physical and virtual. This includes but is not limited to maintenance, mailing, cleaning, procurement, finance and other suppliers.
- Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment (maintenance and other needs).
- Act responsibly with work related resources to contribute to cost containment.
- Effectively plan and schedule manager's activities to continuously improve quality and service delivery within area.
- Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request development where appropriate.
- Produce high-quality work by adhering to predefined standards and procedures and in accordance with compliance and governance standards.

- Deliver on contracted performance objectives according to set procedures and agreed service level agreements.
- Comply with relevant statutory, legislative, policy and governance requirements and adhere to processes and procedures related to area of specialization.
- Contribute to a culture of service excellence, which builds positive relationships and provides opportunity for feedback and exceptional service.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Have completed an NQF Level 5 or 6 qualification.
- Have 5 years' experience as a Personal or Team Assistant.
- Are Proficient in MS Office.
