Job Purpose

Implement all resourcing service fulfilment for the client group. Also, support the implementation of global policies and works with clients to ensure compliance whilst providing resourcing support and advice for optimal business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Execute all resourcing initiatives for the Client group
  • Deliver good calibre candidates in line with business needs, in line with transformation and talent attraction goals.
  • Actively use the resourcing capability to inform functional area on business trends and talents view within the external market.
  • Understand the issues faced by businesses across the Standard Bank Group and how these affect the implementation of the resourcing strategy and in turn the Banks success.

  • Agree and support resourcing related initiatives/programmes and projects as agreed.
  • Use and apply the research on relevant skills pools externally and within Standard Bank e.g. availability, retention, cost. Demonstrated primary point of contact for an end to end resourcing assignment activities
  • Effectively and efficiently coordinate, advise and support all aspects of resourcing.
  • Implement all the resourcing administration procedures and systems.
  • Participate in both high volume and experienced hires activities (predominantly Specialist Functions Retail experience )
  • Analyse resourcing data and report on statistics
  • Ensure that resourcing processes, policies and systems are understood and implemented by employees in the BU’s and in the relevant resourcing team(s).
  • Provide input into and/or assist with the selection, design and implementation of assessment tools.
  • Provide input into and influence line managers to appoint, place and promote according to the organisation’s EE/transformation plans.
  • Ensure talent compliance with all relevant legislation.


Maintain Stakeholder relationships

  • Build internal and external networks with Business Unit Partner, line managers and service providers and ensure relevance and credibility of the resourcing service provided.
  • Respond to day to day enquiries from internal clients.
  • Engage external service providers to provide a value-adding service
  • Initiate and maintain solid, credible working relationships with areas across Procurement People and Culture and business. E.g. Reward, Global Mobility, Shared Services and Talent Management.
  • Stakeholder engagement and handling positive/difficult conversations.
  • Manage the candidate experience from end to end during the recruitment life cycle.

Manage Commercial Awareness

  • Maintain a balance on enabling business whilst optimising cost-effectiveness.
  • Present business cases for investments in resourcing and/or assignments spend.
  • Drive the continuous improvement culture and proactively seek feedback to ensure a successful climate of CI exists.
  • Participate in the positioning of SBG EVP positively in the marketplace.

 

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Degree - Human Resources

3-4 years
Recruitment – specialising in a Non-Permanent including management of a portfolio, full end to end recruitment, consulting to business and partnering with People and Culture. Also direct sourcing experience and exposure to tools.
