POST 10/41: DIRECTOR: FINANCIAL REPORTING
REF NO: HR 5/1/2/3/14
SALARY: R1 105 383 per annum, (all inclusive)
CENTRE: Compensation Fund, Pretoria
DUTIES:
- Manage the implementation and compliance of legislative prescripts, policies and procedures within the Financial Reporting Directorate.
- Manage the operations of the financial system and its sub-modules to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage a process of compliance with statutory requirements, audit and the policies and procedures management processes.
- Management of the resources in the Directorate.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Undergraduate qualification (NQF level 7) in Accounting/ Finance/ Business Management or (Administration). Pre-entry Certificate for SMS is required.
- 5 years of functional experience at the middle management level in Financial management environment.
Knowledge:
- Compensation Fund policies, procedures, and processes.
- Technical knowledge.
- Relevant stakeholders.
- Financial management models processes and techniques.
- Data and records management.
- Customer Service (Batho Pele principles).
- Fund Governance and Risk Management.
- Budgeting and Financial Management. COIDA. Public Service Regulation. Public Service Act. Legislative

- National Treasury Regulations.
- Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
- White paper on transforming public services.
