SERVICE TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure effective cleaning of all equipment in your are to allow for proper inspection.
• Ensure all tools used are handled in a safe and proper manner.
• Assist in the cleaning of spares, tools and vehicles when instructed to do so.
• Make accurate measurements on tank levels and pressure gauges of equipment.
• Do daily equipment walkaround inspections and report accordingly.
• Report all major and minor leaks detected or damages on grease system to team leader
• Assist in preparing and cleaning of all minor & major leakes or damaged grease hoses or blocks.
• Promote the image of the organization at all times and foster good relations with our customers.
• Assist with the removal and re-connection of all lubrication pipes on shutdowns or services.
• Ensure all PPE is in good working order and follow mine safety standards at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Grade 12 or equivalent and must reside in Witbank.
• Driver's license and ability to travel.
• 1 to 2 years of previous experience in the Mining Sector will be beneficial.
• Computer literate.
