Our Housekeeping department is now accepting applications for a Housekeeper – someone who has drive and passion for the industry, with the ability to keep up with the high pace, and a sincere commitment to exceed expectations.
The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, a friendly attitude towards people, can comfortably and engagingly communicate with colleagues, superiors, and guests, have strong leadership abilities, and attention to detail.
The position requires that the candidate have a minimum qualification of Grade 12 coupled with at least 2 years experience in a similar position in a 4*/5* environment. A driver’s license will be ideal. Computer literacy in MS Office, Opera / Fidelio, and time and attendance systems, will be an advantage.

You must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly pressurized environment, you must be physically and mentally fit and able to do the job, and you must be willing and able to assist with other duties/projects from time to time.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage daily running of the Housekeeping department including coordinating room activities, VIP checks, stock take, and weekly staffing rosters
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operational updates to Executive Housekeeper
- Manage, plan, allocate, and evaluate room attendants and housemen
- Communicate relevant information, identify training needs and
- Be responsible for stock take and replacements.
