We need a vibrant and well-presented individual to assist the store manager in maximizing customer satisfaction. The suitable individual will need to deal directly with walk-in customers and manage transactions accurately and efficiently. The chosen candidate will be a competitive sales assistant, who will assist customers to identify and purchase the products they desire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs
• Welcome and greet customers
• Manage point-of-sale processes
• Be actively involved in the receiving of new stock
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit
• Issue receipts, refunds or changes.

Required:

• Experience in retail sales
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

• Familiarities with electronic equipment, like a cash register and POS system.
