The Department of Social Development, Western Cape Government has an employment opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to coordinate, collate and maintain all business information at the regional level. This post is based at the Eden Karoo Regional Office.
Key Performance Areas
- Collate all data for the region;
- Maintain management information systems at the region;
- Report on region information;
- Support regional planning and management processes;
- Liaise with internal/external stakeholders.

Competencies
Knowledge of the following:
- Department of Social Development systems;
- Policy development;
- Project coordination;
- Departmental policies and procedures;
- Communication strategy and procedures;
- Interpretation of prescripts;
Skills needed:
- Report writing;
- Communication (written and verbal);
- Organising and planning;
- Proven computer literacy;
- Numerical; Innovative;
- Analytical thinking.
Minimum Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (B-Degree or equivalent) or higher;
- A minimum of 1-year relevant experience.

Remuneration
R269 214 per annum (Salary Level 7)
Note on remuneration: Employees' service benefits or obligations (13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
