Site Supervisor is a role which involves overseeing the production of goods and/or provision of services.
It’s the Supervisor’s job to make sure an organization is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients.

Essential Functions:
The Assistant Site Manager will:
- Manage, develop, and supervise directly reporting staff, including the transportation, security officers and ensure posting is done on time.
- Manage the implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Manage and oversee the tracking of vehicles and all related documentation that would accompany drivers when they return from patrols.

- Manage all systems relating to the dispatching of stock at the security check points and the receiving of stock from customers.
- Be responsible for investigations, collect evidence and compile relevant reports to be submitted to Stakeholders.
- Manage personnel to ensure the attainment of goals and compliance with policies
- Establish and maintain respectful and good working relationships with all staff
- Establish and maintain good communication with Employees
- Oversee the development of operational strategy in cooperation with the Operations department.
- Establish and maintain appropriate systems to monitor, evaluate and report on all operational departments.
- To maintain the Security Operations Manual up to date for use by all on site security
- Ensure compliance & adherence of personnel to cover duties, individual instructions for each post; attendance; use of security equipment; dress standard; training etc.
- Act as focal point for any investigations involving security; to prepare reports and note follow up action.
- Ensure that the appropriate level of training is provided for all security staff on disasters; fire and bomb procedures; use of technical equipment and routine security duties. Ensure that knowledge is tested several times per year.
- Maintain the security team training plans up to date for all security staff and to test their knowledge of procedures regularly.
- Sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a ‘hands on’, problem solving approach, able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents.
- Experience of writing procedures, drafting reports, preparing business cases.
- Compiling and adjusting duty rosters to meet shortfalls in staffing levels.
- Assist with recruitment, screening, hiring, and orienting of operations staff
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- Lifting, Surveillance Skills, Dealing with Uncertainty, Judgment, Objectivity, Dependability, Emotional Control, Integrity, Safety Management, Professionalism, Reporting Skills
- Valid Driver’s License.
- PSIRA Registered (Grade B or A).
- Good Communication Skills.
- Should be able to command and give clear instructions.
