Cleaning Supervisor, level 4 - Gauteng Department of Health

Duties :

• Supervise Cleaners.
• Assign work schedules and duties to cleaning staff.
• Ensure that checklists are available and implemented.
• Ensure that training and mentoring of staff.
• Monitoring evaluates the performance of staff.
• Makes rounds and inspections to assure that cleaning personnel are performing the required duties, ensure that cleaning procedures and quality control measures are continually maintained.
• Ensure safekeeping of cleaning equipment’s and materials.
• Implement Occupational Health and Safety and Infection Control measures.
• Ensure that disciplinary and procedures are properly followed.
• Perform any other official duties delegated by the supervisor.

Requirements :

• Grade 10/ Standard 8/ ABET Level 4 or equivalent. Ability to read and write. Prepared to work under pressure. Prepared to work shifts (Nights, weekends and public holidays). Possess physical strength and ability to cope with physical demands of the post. 2 years experience in cleaning services environment.
