Purpose of the Job
Manages the utilisation of resources on investigative assignments/projects. Liaises with fraud agencies, SAPS and other related organisations. Investigates and report on fraud/theft/robberies within the company and liaise with internal and computer auditors to reduce fraud/theft/robbery risk in the company.
Prepares and presents evidence at internal disciplinary hearings and in a court of law. Reports findings and outcomes of court cases to the Forensic Investigations Manager. Responsible for adherence to standard operating policies and procedures.

Job Objectives
- Identify and investigate fraudulent activities and irregularities.
- Identify and analyse risk areas, and report such risk areas to the Investigations Manager.
- Organise case records, document evidence and report the circumstances surrounding a crime.
- Gather and analyse evidence/information relating to a crime.
- Conduct interviews to obtain information on a crime.
- Interpret trends on matters investigated and recommend appropriate, corrective and preventative measures.
- Assist in preparing cases for prosecution and presenting evidence at trials, by analysing data and evidence.
- Liaise with law enforcement and fraud agencies where necessary as well as testify at appropriate forums.
- Compile detailed and objective investigation reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)

- 5+ years experience in related field
