Our Marketplace is recruiting a sales manager to lead our seller aquisition, onboarding and seller account Management teams.
The Marketplace Sales Manager reports to the Head of Marketplace.
We're looking for candidates best described as:

Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive commercial performance of a business unit against business targets
- Implementing Key Seller Acquisition Strategy and ensuring effective use of the on-boarding process.
- Communicating the value proposition and driving growth of key brands through the Marketplace Division.
- Managing a robust pipeline of strategic sellers through the Strategic Seller Program ensuring lasting success.
- Lead , manage and support the Sales & On-boarding teams to achieve KPIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Key stakeholders to enhance Seller Onboarding & Acquisition Processes.
- Design and Implement Seller Retention Strategy.
- Work closely with Marketing & Branding to develop Marketplace Branding Strategy.
Attributes required:
- A strong commercial and business understanding of the retail eCommerce market.
- Leading and managing a large sales team, sales strategy development and execution.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior leaders and C-suite executives both internally and externally.
- Coaching and training of the sales team to successfully aquire and manage strategic seller accounts
- Contribute to business initiatives aimed long term strategic growth.
- Quantitative and qualitative data and computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SQl will be beneficial)
Qualifications and Experience:
- A commercial degree from a recognized university
- 5+ years sales and account management experience with backgrounds in eCommerce and/or retail
- 3+ years experience in people management and team development
- Familiarity with Excel and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
