Job Description

Represent and sells the organisation's products and/or services to customers by footprint on the farms and obtaining orders and ensure growth in market share.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Visit clients on a monthly basis and take orders
• Planning of visits to clients and reporting thereof to management
• Process orders according to policies and procedures
• Ensure service delivery to customers are on a high standard to ensure growth in market share
• Meet targets as per budget for sales team as set by management
• Facilitate and solving of queries and complaints and escalate unresolved issues as a matter of urgency
• Solicit new clients on an ongoing basis
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external customers.
• Continuous liaising with internal and external customers to ensure quality products and services
• To stay up to date with new products and market trends in the packaging industry
• Social interaction with customers and capable of entertaining guests at a marketing event

Requirements

• Grade 12/ NQF4
• A degree in Marketing will be an added advantage
• Computer literate
• 3 - 5 years experience in a similar capacity
• Clear Criminal Record
• Knowledge in the agricultural field will be advantageous
• Able to communicate and relate with customers and be aware of factors that is impacting seasonal supply and demand
