We’re hiring an Administrative Assistant.

Your Challenge:

  • Sales effectiveness:
    • Maintains customer database in Salesforce
    • Updates customer field sales data for PowerBI on a monthly basis
    • Technical support of the Corteva team in the usage of Salesforce and PowerBI
  • Business support
    • Demand review process: schedule meetings, update demand review file
    • Backup for colleagues in the office.
  • Administration
    • Manages day-to-day administrative operations of the Paarl office, which is a hub for Commercial, Marketing, Customer Services and Field Sciences functions.
    • Liaise with third-party management services.
    • Booking of workspaces and boardrooms.
    • Booking of external meeting facilities when needed.
    • Travel arrangements as required from time to time.
  • Records management
    • Maintains distributor agreements records.
    • Administrative files.
  • Marketing
    • Administrative support to Marketing function during customer events.
    • Manages promotional item inventories. Tracks and alerts marketing team when replenishment of material is needed.
  • National focal point for calls received in response to advertisements and Corteva website leads. Refers technical enquiries to the relevant Corteva Agriscience representative and business leads to an appropriate customer representative.
  • EHS&S focal point for the African Southern Region team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus additional courses in office administration or computer training
  • Two to three years of administrative experience.
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office and other IT tools
