Administrative assistants are part of the centralized Africa payment team and support the team with all activities aiming to prepare and follow up on IC payments. Providing status reports, communicating and supporting finance across the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working closely with operations and finance teams across the region to establish import documentation, service level agreements, local content, tax, central bank and foreign exchange regulations and requirements to facilitate all IC payments.
  • Assist in establishing a centralised IC AP and payments process.
  • Working closely with operations and finance teams in the country to collate all documents necessary for submission of foreign payments to the banks. Liaising with the banks to ensure payments are released.
  • Working closely with ICP were needed to support the process.
  • Preparation of financial information and supporting schedules for weekly reporting on IC indicators.
  • Provide status reports, communicate and address challenges, and support finance across the region.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably required by Management.
  • Obtain all legal invoices approved through the legal tracker directly from the legal team and process through ERP in line with the AP process above

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS: Third Year of Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.

EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX reporting. (desired)
  • ERP system experience (desired)
  • Highly detail-orientated and organized in work
  • Disciplined, action orientated and practical
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from the manager to accomplish objectives
