Rand Water is looking for a candidate to provide professional, quality protective service to Barrage station and its satelite pumping stations in Compliance with the National Key Point Act ( Act No. 102 of 1980 ) , company policies and localised site procedures
Primary Duties
- Protect Rand Water's people, property and assets in accordance with current legislation
- Conducting access control and patrol duties
- Conduct guarding duties and responsibility for all areas of the Barrage
- Respond to the alarms
- Performing minor administrative duties

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- 2 years security related experience
- PSIRA Grade C registration
- Knowledge of and adherence to legislation and company policy
- Firearm competency ( Handgun, Rifle and Shotgun )
- Driver's license Code 8
- National Key Point Certificate
NB: Assessment in firearm handling proficiency and practical shooting will form part of the selection criteria.
