purpose
To facilitate the resolution of issues and complexities arising during the life of existing transactions.
Responsibilities
Analysts and IBD Support, displaying excellent abilities to listen, advise, influence and mediate at all levels
- Understand information flows and know who to contact to access specific information
- Integrate and interpret opinions and information provided by various sources to make decisions and guide consequent actions
- Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences
- Find opportunities to leverage relationships and promote knowledge sharing, ideas and insights
- Come up with an action plan to resolve an issue and action/monitor resolution
- Build professional working relationships with clients, displaying diplomacy, assertiveness and urgency in requesting and providing information and resolving client queries
- Monitor project progress and identify and resolve potential hurdles and bottlenecks
- Alert Dealmakers and Credit of identified risks and establish action plans to resolve
- Ensure financial budgets and security packages for projects are up-to-date and that projects remain adequately financially viable
- Partner with other areas in the bank to facilitate packaged funding solutions for identified projects
- Validate which assets can be transferred to a fund and are viable for the funding solution
- Facilitate the transfer of an asset by managing the implementation of the transfer documentation and notifications required
- Analyse income, expenses, cashflows, the timing of cashflows, nature of assets, forecasting and projecting, portfolio size and funding requirements
- Perform equity investment reporting
- Provide info on underlying assets/ facilitate that info
- Perform P & L reporting for budgeting purposes

experience and qualifications
- Relevant financial degree
- 5+ years experience in a deal-management environment
- Resilient, determined and tenacious
