POST 39/61: JUNIOR DEVELOPER

REF NO: HO 2022/10/56

Directorate: Application Development

DUTIES:

  • Develop and publish website content.
  • Writing stable code.
  • Internet and intranet maintenance.
  • Writing and maintaining code. 
  • Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems. 
  • Debugging code.
  • System documentation.
  • Maintain and customize existing application systems.
  • Analyse and implement new requirements.
  • Develop future application systems.
  • Ensuring quality of the delivered solution.
  • Management of resources and assets.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant IT qualifications.
  • Minimum 1+ years of working knowledge of software development. 
  • Experience in developing intranet and internet websites.
  • Knowledge of basic coding languages such as XML, XSL, HTML, JavaScript, VB Scrip, Visual Basic, COM, ASP< C#, SQL. Database (i.e. Oracle and MS SQL) knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literate.
  • Valid driver’s license.

SALARY: R261 372 per annum
