Forklift Driver: Shipping - BKB Limited

Responsible for the transportation and handling of bales on the HD press floor to the stowage area.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

• Removal of bales from HD to the stowage.
• Relocate all torn/ripped bales to the repressed holding area.
• Must be able to work under pressure when the floor is at full capacity.
• Record all incomplete reference numbers and report to the line manager.
• Perform daily hyster checks.
• Report any new noises to the line manager.
• Always maintain a safe speed while ensuring productivity on the Shipping/HD floor
• All lawful work instructions must be performed as instructed by a superior.

We have to get serious for a bit. We need:

• Matric
• 3 years experience in the wool store
• Forklift license (valid)
• Must be able to work in a team
• Must take responsibility for own work output
• Good interpersonal skills
• Writing and arithmetic skills
• Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
• Must be able to perform under pressure and follow instructions
• Attention to detail
